I had a blend of emotions about my stay. The hotel has a charming historical essence, and I appreciated the effort in maintaining its features while providing a welcoming atmosphere. The afternoon tea I booked was delightful, and I felt well taken care of by the staff during our special events. However, I was a bit puzzled by some parts of the building that seemed to lack the same care and attention, especially when compared to the vibrant functions held there. Overall, it's a nice place with potential for improvement in certain areas.

I found the hotel to have its charm, with a lovely community vibe and stunning surroundings. The staff were generally friendly, but my experience with service was a bit hit or miss. The room was clean but felt a little dated, and I wasn't impressed with the amenities. The dining was decent, but it didn't quite meet my expectations for variety and value.

We had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was excellent for exploring North Wales and the outdoor dining area was fabulous, the room definitely needed some maintenance work. The service had its ups and downs; some staff were friendly while others seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the dining experience fell short of expectations, particularly at breakfast. Overall, the great location and spacious outdoor settings were highlights, but I believe improvements are necessary in some areas.

I recently attended a retirement function at the Mountain Park Hotel, and it was a fantastic venue for our event! The organization was impressive, particularly regarding the catering and DJ. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food, and many of our guests had a lovely time staying at the hotel. However, I had a different experience during a short stay on a gift voucher, where the room left much to be desired, with cleanliness issues and a lack of comfort. Overall, while the event aspect of the hotel is commendable, individual stays may vary significantly.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful countryside setting, providing a nice retreat. While the staff were mostly friendly and tried their best to accommodate us, several aspects of the stay fell short, specifically the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were concerning. The dining options were quite limited, and service could definitely use improvement, making it feel more rushed than relaxed.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were rather dated, with some cleanliness issues and maintenance concerns such as a blocked wash basin. There was also no apparent way to control settings like the towel rail.
Service
5.0
The service from the staff was inconsistent. Some were very accommodating, while others seemed inexperienced and in a rush, affecting the overall dining experience.
Location

The location is lovely, nestled in the countryside, making it ideal for visiting family nearby.
Dining

Dining options were limited but the food quality was decent, though I would have appreciated a more extensive menu.
Facilities
